The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The sacrament of reconciliation is an opportunity for Catholics to examine their lives, confess their sins, be reconciled with God and the community, and to receive the grace to sin no more. Saint Mary's offers opportunities in school to receive the sacrament.

The priests of Saint Mary's Parish are available each day for confessions by appointment. One of the parish priest visits the High School each Thursday afternoon and offers students and faculty the opportunity to received the sacrament of confession in our Eucharistic Chapel.

During the season of Advent, the elementary and middle school students have their Penance Service and during Lent, the high school students have theirs. Priests from area parishes are called upon to assist at these penance services.
