Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. It is sponsored by Kiwanis International and assists in the Kiwanis mission to serve the children of the world. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
The Saint Mary’s High School club serves the community of the high school and beyond. The club serves the needs of the less fortunate as well as fosters good will. In additional to supporting St. Mary’s Parish School’s monthly meal at the soup kitchen, past activities have included the Pumpkin Smash for Unicef and fund raisers for the parish Prayer Shawl ministry, the Cancer House of Hope and Bethlehem House. The St. Mary’s club also collected toys for a local shelter.
The Key Club motto is: Caring–Our Way of Life.
