Does one single gift make a difference?
Yes! Your gift, when combined with hundreds of others from parents, alumni, parishioners and friends, has a big impact on the students and the school. Your gifts provide the necessary funds to enrich St. Mary’s Parish School and the lives of its students. We invite you to make a smart investment in tomorrow’s leaders.
Doesn't tuition cover the cost of a St. Mary’s Parish School education?
No. In fact, tuition only covers a portion of the full cost of educating each student. In the 2013-2014 academic year, we saw the following differences:
Elementary School High School
Annual cost to educate one student (approximated): $5,365.00 $8,220.00
Tuition charge for 1st student in family: $4,000.00 $7,200.00
Consequently, we count on other ways to help make up the difference ... your support of the Annual Fund is an important part of bridging that gap.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Gifts to St. Mary’s Parish School are tax-deductible. The school is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Should you need our tax exemption number, please call or email us and we’ll be happy to provide that for you.
Who can take advantage of matching gifts?
If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, you may be able to double or even triple the impact of your gift to St. Mary’s Parish School. Many companies will match an employee, retiree and/or spouse’s gift. Does yours? Check with your Human Resources Department to take advantage of this important enhancement of your philanthropic effort!
Be sure to take advantage of your company's generosity.
Can I make a gift in memory or in honor of someone?
Tribute and/or memorial gifts are a wonderful way to remember someone who has had a special connection to the school. It's a great way to remember your favorite faculty member, a mentor, a coach or a friend. When you make your gift indicate whom the gift honors or memorializes, and where you would like us to mail a note notifying the person about the tribute gift. No gift amount will be mentioned.
